Education is a process which, when effective, motivates students to learn and inquire beyond the boundaries of the typical school day.
As part of the LA Conservation Corps' Education Department the After School Program's mission is to extend the school day in fun and exciting ways that help to cultivate critical thinking in young minds. In addition to a safe worry-free environment the After School Program provides academic enrichment, tutoring and mentoring services at Elementary and Middle Schools throughout the Los Angeles Unified School District.
