CLEAN & GREEN print this page - Los Angeles Conservation Corps - www.lacorps.org
LA Conservation Corps’ Clean & Green program serves participants ages 13 to 17, and benefits children and neighbors across greater Los Angeles. The program provides paid training to nearly 2,000 students each year from middle and high schools across Los Angeles.

The students participate in short-term, part-time employment after school, on weekends and during vacations by performing urban beautification projects throughout all 15 City Council Districts. They also participate in field studies that teach them about environmental issues.
Emphasis is placed on keeping team members on track in school and in their personal lives. Clean & Green staff members teach the students about the importance of being responsible for and committed to their jobs, their families and their community.
