This year, the California Endowment moved into a newly constructed building in Downtown L.A. that houses its administrative offices, the L.A. Regional Office and the Center for Healthy Communities. The new building is adjacent to Union Station, Chinatown and Olvera Street.

To mark this milestone, The California Endowment celebrated by presenting Healthy Neighborhood Awards to local organizations which are working to make their neighborhoods cleaner, safer and healthier.
The LA Conservation Corps is proud to announce that its Clean & Green program, which employs young people ages 13 to 17 to perform community beautification projects as a way of engaging them in constructive activities while they are out of school, is an award recipient.

Our thanks to The California Endowment for supporting LA Conservation Corps youth and programs!
