Mayor-Elect Antonio Villaraigosa selected and awarded Tasha Wallace and Pablo Cardoso, both staff of LA Conservation Corps' Clean & Green program, with "The Spirit Of Los Angeles Award” on June 27, 2005. Tasha and Pablo received this recognition for their efforts in engaging young people in service projects that beautify and improve the quality of life for residents of Council District 14.
