It’s our tradition to honor a current Corpsmember in our Annual Gratitude Report. This year, we chose Ryan Jervis, a Corpsmember Driver who recently completed the Worker Education Resource Center’s training program, which prepares our Corpsmembers to pass the required exams to start a career with LA County. Ryan earned funding from our Transition Support Fund to supplement his wages while participating in the training. He was incredibly thankful: “They tell you a lot of things when you join the Corps about how they’re going to help you, but you don’t realize it’s going to be this much help.” Ryan is on track to a lifelong career, and we couldn’t be prouder of him! Be sure to read more about Ryan in this year’s Gratitude Report.
