Case Manager

Reporting to the Corpsmember Development Senior Program Manager, the Case Manager provides a comprehensive program of support services to Los Angeles Conservation Corps participants based on a professional assessment of each participant’s needs and connections to internal and community resources. The goal of the Case Manager’s work is to provide young people with direct social services and life skills to advance participant’s personal and professional skills. Case Managers guide and support corpsmembers through the first year of the Career Pathways program, Phase I and continue to provide support as needed.

The Case Manager provides case management to include client/family needs assessments and referrals to local resources. The Case Manager connects participants to local community services, including medical care, mental health services, housing, drug/alcohol services, work readiness, college & career development resources, and social activities. The caseload varies from 50-80 Corps participants and 30-40 Clean & Green participants. The Case Manager will work with an additional caseload as needed to serve recruits in program and alumni for follow-up purposes. Other duties may be assigned as required.
