7 TIPS for Your Successful Drive

1) PRINT copies of the drive wish list and tape to a box to transform it into a collection bin! Place it in a convenient location with high foot traffic, like a lobby or break room.

2) PROMOTE your drive with fliers, posters, tweets, and emails. Frequent reminders will increase donations!  Most people will help if asked directly.

3) ENCOURAGE financial donations as an option for those who don’t have time to go shopping but who still want to help.  You can collect these donations and submit them with the rest of your product donations, or they can text to give or give online at

4) INCLUDE branded swag!  We welcome branded swag to be included in the donation drive.  This is a great way to get the drive started on the right foot

5) MOTIVATE with goals!  Set goals for anticipated donations. (For example, 100 socks, 50 safety glasses, etc.)

6) COMPETE between floors or departments to encourage participation!  Consider giving a small incentive to the winning team.  Send out frequent reminders and goal or team updates.

7) THANK employees internally! ¬†Think of creative ways to showcase the culture of philanthropy you are creating in your organization. ¬†Share pictures of your drive with us and we’ll post them to our social media.

Connect with us on social media so we can shout out your good work and progress.

Only a few weeks left in 2018! You can play a special role in helping our youth be set for success by contributing to our goal to build 250 “Welcome to the Corps” care kits for new Corpsmembers who are committing to changing their futures by joining the Corps.¬† With your support, we can gift a helpful kit to each new Corpsmember at graduation ceremonies once they complete their month-long orientation.
