Get Your Hands Dirty September 28th
Dig deep this fall and celebrate with our Corpsmembers advocating, protecting and maintaining our nation’s public lands.
If you’ve been looking for a fun way to enjoy the outdoors, volunteer this September 28th in Culver City at the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook for National Public Lands Day (NPLD) –the largest single-day volunteer effort for America’s public lands!
This year our Corpsmembers are getting their hands dirty to help restore and enhance a public park at the top of the infamous Culver City Stairs! This is a current project site for The Corps in collaboration with California State Parks and the Audubon Society. Here, Corpsmembers are creating uniform step heights and conducting trail maintenance to protect the native plants and to help residents stay on-path and stay safe.
Are you ready to advocate for protecting public lands?
Volunteer with The Corps on NPLD Saturday, September 28th as we restore habitats throughout the park and connect to nature through service. Sign up for you and your family/friends below to keep our public lands safe!
