Senior Program Manager – ELA

The Senior Program Manager ensures the organization’s success and sustainability by contributing to the accomplishment of the organization’s mission, business goals and vision, by establishing new and maintaining current contracts that will cultivate funding to grow and sustain the division. The Senior Program Manager accomplishes this mission by developing and managing contracts and programs that serve young people with an opportunity for developing educational and work skills to further their personal development and environmental awareness; creating stronger ties to their communities through community involvement and services; exploring avenues for personal growth and development in a respectful and nurturing environment and developing leadership skills to contribute to the advancement of all people. The Senior Program Manager provides administrative guidance and support for the Corps’ Urban Forestry program, which is housed at our ELA and Griffith Park sites. The primary responsibility of the Senior Program Manager is to ensure contract deliverables are met for the City Plants program, along with other city and county urban forestry contracts. Other duties may be assigned, as required.
