The Annual Youth Environmental Summit (YES!) is a two-day, overnight youth event that celebrates diversity and inclusion and builds awareness about the environment, Los Angeles’ natural and cultural resources, regional sustainability and green career pathways.

About the August 2019 Youth Environmental Summit (YES)
DAY 1
Summit activities included education, professional development, and youth empowerment. An Environmental Careers Fair was central to the first day of the event. Participants networked with leaders in the environmental field and learned about environmental careers. Special Guest speakers included professionals in the environmental field.
DAY 2
The second day focused on exploration and adventure. Activities included hiking, kayaking, bike riding, rock climbing, pottery making, dark night sky viewing, restoration, crafting — and the chance for youth to choose their own adventure!
