After School Program

Helping Children Thrive

As part of the LA Conservation Corps’ commitment to education, the After School Program strives to extend the school day in fun and exciting ways for thousands of children at dozens of campuses in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Working in partnership with LAUSD’s Beyond the Bell branch, our team of expert educators create programming that helps to cultivate critical thinking in young minds. In addition to a safe worry-free environment, the After School Program provides academic enrichment, tutoring and mentoring services, arts and humanities clubs, athletics, and other recreational activities all in line with state standards.

This wide range of enrichment activities that are geared towards building self-esteem, social skills, and experience-based knowledge. Students choose which activity most fits their interests and work together with like minded peers.
