Dear Friends of the Corps, I hope you are staying safe and well. Thanks to the heroic efforts of firefighters, the National Guard and first responders, significant progress has been made to contain the fires.

The devastation caused by the wildfires is heartbreaking. This is an unprecedented time for Angelenos, and our hearts go out to everyone impacted by these catastrophic fires.

As we approach Labor Day, a day honoring the contributions of American workers and the achievements of the labor movement, I’m reminded of the incredible efforts of our Corpsmembers here at the LA Conservation Corps.
